We are now accepting student artist submissions, grades 3-8, for the NASA Day of Remembrance Art Exhibit to be held at the Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College. NASA’s Day of Remembrance honors those who lost their lives while furthering the cause of exploration and discovery. On this day, NASA pays tribute to the astronauts on Apollo 1, Space Shuttles Challenger STS 51L and Columbia STS 107.

For this year’s exhibit and student competition, the Scobee Education Center would like to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Program. From October 2018 through December 2022, NASA will honor the Apollo Program, which landed twelve american astronauts on the Moon between July 1969 and December 1972 and our first crewed mission, Apollo 8, which circumnavigated the Moon in December 1968.
